What's happening in our  Clubs and Classes

November 2024

A very successful grading week with both children and adults grading for new belts. We also had two new Black Belts, so big congratulations to Charlotte and Erin.

June 2024

A marvellous week of grading students at all the schools and evening classes. We continue high level teaching and add new skillsets for our students. Well done all, especially Timmy Buckle who achieved his Black Belt.

March 2024

Great grading week, where all the new teachers were seeing their students for the first time in a grading situation. Chief Instructor Ian Smith allowed each teacher to show their own skills off and it turned out to be a wonderful set of grading days. Well done to all those that passed, with a special mention to Paul Hodgson with an impressive black belt grading.

November 2023

Another successful grading week with both children and adults grading to new belts. Everyone learnt new skills from our Chief Instructor and though tested, students were rewarded. We also had four new Black Belts, so big congratulations to Selina, Murad, Pavina and Aarnav. 

June 2023

We had over 120 students grading in June, and with the weather being so hot we did an outside grading of the senior grades. Lot's of hard work with a good measure smiles made each grading wonderful. Well done everyone.

March 2023

Another 130 students graded in March by Chief Instructor Ian Smith. Great turnout in all the clubs, great effort and lots of happy students.

Well done for a really good 2nd Dan grading by Zhongyuan Sun, and well done to everyone who trained and graded this term.

December 2022

Wonderful end of term gradings with over 130 students grading, including seven first dan black belts and three second dan black belts grades awarded. 

Chief instructor Ian Smith said the quality is very high and he was extremely please and impressed with how all the students trained.

Well done everyone, we are so pleased.

Let's keep up the good work for next term.

June 2022

Fantastic gradings to end the term, great turnout and energy from all the students. 

Chief Instructor Ian Smith came and did over 130 gradings in a week. 

We also had eight students who passed their 1st Dan Bl;ack belts, so well done to Cody Chapman, Dylan Coleclough, Erin Walker, Eve Ruscillo, Isabelle Bowron, Lathujan Karunanithy, Luca Ruscillo and Paddy Buckle.

Well done everyone, you all trained so well this term, and it's lovely to see you getting your new belts.

March 2022

What a great grading week we have had. 

Chief Instructor Ian Smith visited for the week and 130 Red Belt to 1st Kyu Brown Belt students passed their gradings. There were also two Shodan (1st Dan Black Belt) passes from Zach Court and Alexander Sulikowski, and one Nidan (2nd Dan Black Belt) pass from Rich Allen. 

Well done to everyone, their hard work and commitment created fantastic energy in the grading classes.
